The kickboxing program at The Cellar teaches the fundamentals of American Kickboxing through fun and challenging workouts that are great for students of any fitness and experience level.
Our kickboxing classes include a lot of parter drills with one person wearing boxing gloves and the other holding punch or kick pads. Students learn different techniques in each class as well as new ways to mix techniques together into combinations that will test your cardio and strengthen muscles from head to toe.
Cardiovascular training is combined with an incredible core workout as you learn to kick with incredible speed and power. An average class can help to burn between 600 and 800 calories while you get in shape and have fun learning basic self-defense along the way.
Our classes have also proven to be great stress relievers after a long day at the office or after final exams. Many students train for fitness, recreation, and sometimes competition. Although this class is physically challenging, students more interested in competition are directed towards our Muay Thai classes.
