MR. BRAVO - YOUTH KARATE INSTRUCTOR
John Dunham, or as the kids call him, "Mr. Bravo", began training in karate at the age of six at the St. Louis Park Community Center. In 2003, he earned his first degree black belt under Mr. Terry Norblom. The day after his Black Belt test he started instructing at JABZ Kickboxing and Kidratee. Throughout high school he entered tournaments around Minnesota, excelling in forms competitions and winning 1st place at the Minnesota State Karate Championships for musical forms. Before leaving for college Mr. Norblom promoted him to second degree Black Belt.
In 2011 Mr. Bravo joined the team at The Cellar to help grow the youth martial arts program. His energetic and encouraging teaching style has been a great fit at The Cellar and his students have been very receptive to the life skills and messages Mr. Bravo teaches in his Kidratee program.
